Here are bulkhead connectors going into the electronics housing from Subconn  http://www.subconn.com/

Here is a view of the electronics housing with nuts to tighten the bulkhead connectors tight against the flat stainless steel surface

On the outside where connectors are are being pressed against the flat surface, there is an o-ring for each connector sealing the water from getting into the electronics case.

Here is a view with the bulkhead connectors ready to be connected to.

These are the cables that are going to be installed

This stuff is fantastic! It is basically liquid rubber that will solidify in 30 minutes when mixed with a catalyst.  You can use this stuff to join two or more cable together in an absolutley 100 percent water proof connection.

Here is the black liquid rubber and the catalyst, pre-measured. You just break the internal membrane and mix the two halves for 1 minute.

You can then use a large syringe to take up the black solution so that it can then be injected into a mold. Just cut open a corner of the packet for this.

Here are the molds that have been prepared where you can see the wires being joined together.

The Scotchcast material being injected into the mold.

One packet of Scotchcast can create about 4 to 5 joinings depending on the diameter of each mold.

After about 30 minutes to an hour, you can use a dremmel to cut open the pvc pipe molds and remove them.

Here is the finished joining of two wires encased in a solid rubber bond.
