This ROV "Smokey" is made from 1 1/4" x 1 1/4" x 1/4" fiberglass angle

It comes from a place called www.creativepultrusions.com (call local distributor for pricing)

It is 1/5 the weight of steel for the same strength

It is electromagnetically transparent

It is non corrosive, and non conductive

Here is another frame made with 1" x 1" x 1/8" fiberglass angle. This ROV was named Ipski Pipski

In order to paint this frame, the fiberglass must be lightly sanded to remove the protective coating so the paint will stick.

The finished ROV frame is then coated with a high gloss clear coat to protect the paint.
